London - Paris

15-19th June 2017

The EDGE London Paris is a four day 500km cycling event open to all. Every element is planned with precision – from the accommodation and transport to the dedicated mechanics, EDGE Ride Captains, motorcycle outriders, sports physios and logistics crew.

Running on rolling road closures throughout the French stages, it gives participants the privilege of riding up the cobbles to the Arc de Triomphe and onto the finish at the Eiffel Tower under closed road conditions – an experience equal to being a pro cyclist in Le Tour de France.

Le Tour – One Day Ahead

30th June - 22nd July 2017

Le Tour – One Day Ahead sees 20 cyclists ride the entire 2017 Tour de France event one day ahead of the professionals. A truly premium event, it offers the experience of riding the whole tour with the same support as a professional team: tour bus, service vehicles, motorcycle outriders, rolling road closures, dedicated mechanics , sports physios and full medical support.

Includes two nights at a central Paris 5-star hotel to recover from the previous 21 days and watch the pros arrive the day after. This truly is a once in a lifetime, bucket list event.

The Team

Two friends, great at staging elite standard tours and who have a passion for sporting events.

Dan Solley and Paul Morton have participated in and led the organisation of a great many sporting challenges, using their experience to drive the quality and expectations of the participants. Their understanding of the professional cycling world and the need for premium experiences for participants and sponsors have made them experts in their field.

Dan Solley

Dan has been producing major events for over 15 years. His knowledge and experience ranges from organising public art exhibitions and gala dinners to producing large arena shows and, of course, big sporting events. Over the past eight years, he has specialised in cycling, developing and staging Europe-wide cycling events that offer amateurs the professional team experience.

Paul Morton

Paul came to EDGE with a wealth of knowledge in cycling. As a serving Police Officer for 10 years in Kent, he worked on the logistical teams for the 2007 Tour de France, 2012 London Olympics and 2012 Paralympics, G20 & G8 summits. He has also been route and peloton safety supervisor for the Tour of Britain since 2006. Paul left the Police in 2013 and has worked alongside Dan to deliver cycle events for the third sector.

When EDGE was formed, it was only a matter of time before Paul became a central part of the organisation. He is a keen rider and racer and has taken on many cycling challenges over the years.
